About Elevate
People tend to find us the same way. They've been somewhere relaxing that didn't do much for their skin, or somewhere that got results and felt like a medical appointment. Then they come here and stop looking.
Elevate is a wax and facial boutique on State Street in downtown Eagle, serving the Treasure Valley since 2019. Clients come to us from across the valley for peels, advanced treatments, facials, and waxing — done in a space built for you to actually relax in while it happens.
Our Team
A small team with one standard. The goal is for you to feel just as confident booking with any of our estheticians as with any other.
Christa Lyman
Owner and Esthetician
Christa has been a licensed esthetician since 2013. She knew early that she loved making people feel beautiful, and esthetics was where her love of art and skincare came together. She went to esthetics school while pregnant with her first child and opened Elevate with her husband, Mitch.
Emily
Esthetician
Originally from Alaska, Emily has called Idaho home for nine years. Clients come to her for brows and waxing — especially people who've been over-waxed elsewhere — and for facials. Outside work she's usually hiking with her dogs or with her family.
Jess
Esthetician
Jessalyn has lived in Idaho most of her life. Clients single out her dermaplaning and her massage, and more than one has admitted to falling asleep on the table. When she's not here she's camping or hiking with her family.
How We Work
Most treatments can be done fast. A Hydrafacial, for instance, is usually taught as an in-and-out service — get it done, turn the room.
We don't work that way. We keep a tight schedule, but every service here has room built in for the part that makes you relax: a real massage, warm towels, a few minutes that aren't rushed. It's a standard, not an upgrade, and it applies no matter who you book with.
We also start every appointment the same way — by looking at your skin and talking about what's actually going on before we touch anything. You don't need to know what to book. That's our job.
What We Believe
Your skin doesn't exist on its own. It's connected to how you're sleeping, what you're eating, how stressed you are, and how your body is feeling that week. So we don't treat it like a surface problem to fix and move on from.
That's why we believe results and relaxation belong together. When your body actually settles on the table, you're not bracing your way through a treatment. The calm isn't an extra. It's part of the care.
We also believe in being honest with you. We won't promise a set number of sessions, because your skin, your home care, and how quickly your skin renews are different from the next person's. What we will do is tell you what we're seeing, build a plan that fits your life, and get you there as quickly as your skin will let us.
And we believe everyone who walks in should feel welcome, whether it's your first wax or your fiftieth facial. Seen, cared for, and at home.
Face Reality Certified Estheticians
Every esthetician at Elevate is a Face Reality Certified Acne Expert. It isn't optional — it's part of how we hire.
Most places that carry a professional acne line have one certified person. If that person is booked, or leaves, your plan stalls. Here, whoever you book with is trained to the same protocol, and to the same standard of care across everything we do.
What it's Like Here
You'll notice the way it smells before anything else. There are chocolates while you wait, and a bathroom stocked with the things you forget. A warm robe, low light, music, warm towels, a heated bed. Massage built into every service.
None of that is decoration. It's the difference between a treatment you endure and one you look forward to, and it's most of the reason people book their next appointment before they leave.
