Facials
Our facials are built in levels, so you can start wherever makes sense and go deeper as your skin tells us what it needs. Level 1 is the place to begin if you've never had one. Level 3 and our Seasonal Facial are the two most people book — the Seasonal changes every couple of months and includes a dermaplane, so you're getting that smooth, makeup-glides-on finish along with the treatment. Every facial starts the same way, with a few minutes of actually looking at your skin and talking about what's going on with it, before we touch anything.

We use Eminence Organic Skincare, Face Reality, and Epicutis, which gives us real range whether your skin is oily and breaking out, dry and reactive, or somewhere in between.
And we take the relaxing part as seriously as the results. Our treatment room in Eagle is low-lit and quiet, with a scalp and shoulder massage worked into treatments that are still doing real work on your skin. We don't think you should have to pick one.

What facial is best for my skin type?
Here at Elevate a Wax and Facial Boutique, we tailor each facial to your unique skin characteristics, concerns, and progress in your journey. We use Eminence Organic Skincare, Face Reality, and Epicutis products, giving us wide versatility in addressing your needs. Whether you have oily/acne-prone skin, dry/sensitive skin, or combination skin, we'll find what works for you. Come in and we'll look at your skin together before we decide — you don't need to know which facial you want before you book.
I'm new to facials, where should I start?
Our two most common facials are the Level 3 and the Seasonal. If you're wanting a Dermaplane (a scalpel is used to remove the peach fuzz and top layer of dead skin cells for deeper product penetration) then the Seasonal is probably the way to go!

For teens and adults looking to fight acne, our Mini Facial is perfect quick in and out for ongoing maintenance. We also have our Acne Treatments for a boost in results.
How often should I get a facial?
This is definitely dependent on your needs. To actively correct a concern, or maintain results, every 4-6 weeks is ideal.
How do facials differ from my regular at home skincare routines?
While daily skincare focuses on maintenance through cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection, facials offer deeper exfoliation, extractions, and professional-grade treatments that enhance or expedite results.
What is dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning uses a surgical scalpel to remove peach fuzz and the top layer of dead skin cells. It leaves your skin noticeably smoother, helps everything we apply afterward absorb better, and makes makeup sit flat instead of catching on fine hairs. It doesn't hurt and there's no downtime. It's included in our Seasonal Facial and can be added to any other facial for $33.
What should I do before my facial?
Come as you are. You don't need to arrive with a bare face — we'll cleanse you at the start. If you're using retinol or a prescription acne medication, let us know when you book, since we may adjust what we use on you. And skip waxing or laser on the same area for about a week beforehand.
Can I get a facial before a wedding or event?
Yes, with a little planning. If you've had facials with us before, three to five days out is ideal. If it's your first, book two weeks out so we know how your skin responds, then come back closer to the date. What we don't recommend is a first-ever facial or a first-ever peel the day before something important — extractions can leave you a little pink, and that's not the day to find out how your skin reacts.

If you want the best possible skin for a wedding, our top recommendation is Nano Infusion. It's often called "the wedding facial" for good reason — it drives product deep into the skin with no downtime at all, so you get real brightness and smoothness without any risk of showing up flushed. Book it about a week out.
What facial is best for acne and scarring?
While we do tailor each facial to your specific needs, for acne we do recommend a Mini Facial for teens and adults for consistent maintenance, Acne Treatments for enhanced results, or adding an Acne Peel to any other facial.

Acne scarring requires more than facials can typically provide. Our top recommendation for acne scarring is Microchanneling — it's a bigger investment at $394, and it's the treatment that actually addresses scarring rather than working around it.
What facial is best for blackheads and clogged pores?
Our estheticians use specialized tools and techniques to extract blackheads and clear your pores during all of our facial treatments. This process minimizes the risk of infection, scarring, or skin damage that can occur when you pick or squeeze blackheads at home. Professional extraction is cleaner, helps reduce inflammation, and helps prevent further breakouts.

If you'd like to greatly increase the success of clearing your pores, you may want to consider a Hydrafacial treatment.
What facial is best for fine lines and wrinkles?
Reducing to appearance of fine lines and wrinkles can be a delicate process. In this case, a variety of products will be needed. The Seasonal Facial will be your best friend as it includes the most amount of products used for targeting your needs.

Both Microchanneling and Hydrafacial are perfect options for an enhanced treatment targeting fine lines and wrinkles.
What facial is best for rosacea, dark spots and hyperpigmentation?
Rosacea, dark spots, red spots, hyperpigmentation, all fall under the category of uneven skin tone. Evening out your skin tone will be a long process. But we definitely have options for you! At the very least, you'll want to add a Bright Skin Peel to your facial (peel addons are included in the Seasonal). Your at home care will also be a gamechanger.
However, correcting uneven skin tone will very likely need a more advanced approach. Microchanneling or Hydrafacial will also be ideal choices here.
